klm: Dutch carrier KLM to resume Bengaluru flights from May, make Mumbai-Amsterdam a daily

NEW DELHI: Dutch airline KLM will resume operations on its Bengaluru-Amsterdam route from May 25, while increasing the frequency of Mumbai flights from five weekly to a daily starting May 23.
The airline had started the Bengaluru-Amsterdam route in October 2019 but had to suspended it temporarily during Covid. Now, the Dutch carrier will operate three flights per week from Bengaluru to Amsterdam.
“Air France and KLM’s combined operations from India will increase to 35 weekly flights by the end of May. Customers will have the option to fly from four cities in India (Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai) and connect with ease to destinations across the global network. This significant increase, above pre-pandemic level demonstrates the focus and importance of India for Air France-KLM’s network,” AF-KLM said in a statement.
